Restaurant Staff Summary We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated Host/ Cashier for our restaurant located in the historicSystel Business Building.
The Host/ Cashier's basic function is to welcome, greet and seat guests in a gracious, accommodating, and professional manner, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
The level of service must be consistent with the established FRIENDS Upscale Catering standards.
The position requires you display knowledge of menu, food, and beverage ingredients.
The essential hospitality standards must be always used:
enthusiastically recognize guest per the FRIENDS standards, eye contact, smile, speak first, engage in polite conversation, and use the guest's last name.
Roles and Responsibilities Set-up/ break down and continual maintenance of station and front entrance Welcome guests by greeting them per the FRIENDS standards and respond to customer queries by resolving issues Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions with customers Ensure all product displays are visually appealing/neat and food is fresh with correct labels Demonstrate self-leadership by displaying job expertise, flexibility, positive attitude, initiative, organization, communication skills and enthusiasm Perform station opening/ closing and side work duties each shift Handle and process telephone and in person reservations to document Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs Qualifications and Education Requirements Must be good at public relations Preferred 2 years server experience High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Working knowledge of computer applications and systems Must be effective at listening, understanding guest needs and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Job Type:
