HVAC Service Technician

IVEY MECHANICAL COMPANY has immediate openings for experienced and motivated SERVICE TECHNICIANS to maintain and service COMMERCIAL HVAC/R systems
Job Description:
-Utilize your strong skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
-Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.
-Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems such as roof top package units, dehumidification units, ventilation systems, etc.
-Refrigeration equipment knowledge is a PLUS:
reach-in and walk-in boxes, cooler display cases, and ice machines -Perform repairs, overhauls and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems -Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement and modifications -Control wiring and high voltage -Documents work-orders digitally using Company provided tablet -Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, gathering material and coordinating on-site work with customer and dispatcher Primary areas of expertise include:
-HVAC systems -RTU's -Dehumidification units -Split systems -DX systems -Reach-in and walk-in boxes -Cooler display cases -Ice machines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, Communication and customer service skills, Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, Must be able to work independently and without supervision, 5 years of experience preferred.
