6K a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES This class is responsible for the implementation and oversight of enterprise data management goals, standards, practices, processes, and technologies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Providing leadership of enterprise-wide data governance plans and activities, to include:
creating and managing the data governance implementation roadmap ensuring adoption and adherence to the data governance framework for data policies, standards, and regulatory requirements achieving the required level of data consistency, quality, and protection required to meet overall business needs implementing comprehensive efforts to increase data literacy across the organization working closely with all divisions to improve the quality and value of core data assets defining roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensuring clear accountability for data quality and consistency Leading efforts to build and expand business intelligence (reporting and analytics) opportunities to benefit the entire organization, to include:
leveraging data and analytics to develop forward-thinking solutions to help resolve business challenges and increase efficiencies serving as trusted advisor for data-driven initiatives, including defining and communicating key performance indicators maintaining the use case backlog and managing priorities based on strategic goals and business requirements overseeing development and maintenance of enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems and owners supporting business needs to develop and share performance and quality metrics, including dashboards and reports identifying organizational key performance indicators providing guidance and support for large-scale technology/application implementations serve as liaison between IT and business representatives in enterprise-wide data management efforts overseeing administration and development of enterprise data management technologies Operating under general supervision of the Director of Business Services, work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures, with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work.
Performs related work as required.
FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Thorough knowledge of data management, to include:
quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze data, make decisions, and facilitate continuous quality improvement efforts across all divisions data mining principles, to include mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems (on premises and cloud-based) best practices for developing effective business intelligence tools and accountability measures data modeling, programming, and other tools used for queries and reports analytical concepts and statistical techniques, to include hypothesis development, designing tests, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units general safety rules, regulations, and procedures Leadership and supervisory requirements include the ability to:
communicate effectively, both orally and in writing t supervise/manage personnel, including remote staff facilitate workshops of diverse teams, to include on premises/hybrid/remote personnel analyze and use data to help departments set and measure performance indicators aligned with strategic goals develop and implement initiatives aligned with business needs and strategic goals effectively gather, understand, and share complex technical information with all levels of staff maintain knowledge on current and emerging technologies to execute continuous quality improvements and meet changing business needs oversee documentation of business requirements translated into scalable and adaptable tools and programs maintain effective working relationships with customers, the general public, all levels of employees, officials, and contractors Advanced technology skills are required, to include:
Microsoft Office applications, to include MS 365, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook Oracle applications software, to include Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) Business intelligence tools and applications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from a four (4) year accredited university/college with a degree/certification in business, technology, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience which includes lead worker or supervisory responsibilities.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
SAFETY HAZARDS :
Minimal.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT :
As required in the Public Works Commission's Safety Manual.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
