Serves as the resource person and senior technologist within the CT Section of Radiology Department.
Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in CT Section of Radiology Department.
Demonstrates competency and efficiency in the treatment, care of and interaction with all patients of any age to include neo-natal, newborns, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Fully competent to perform all procedures and operates all equipment designated within the CT Section of Radiology Department.
Fully competent in the Technical operation of all equipment.
Assesses the patient, reviews charts for orders and lab results, confirms the availability of all the above and reason for the procedure.
Prepares the patient for the procedure, answers any questions or directs questions to the Radiologist.
Responsible for beginning and ending each procedure in the computer system to ensure proper patient billing for services.
Reviews daily the ended but not transcribed list and corrects any issues.
Maintains accurate record of patient care.
