This will be an opportunity looking to hire immediately and offer growth within the role.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full revenue cycle medical billing, with the skills necessary to improve the clients current billing procedures.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the full cycle of billing and A/R activities to ensure prompt and accurate billing.
Responsibilities and Duties Post medical charges into medical billing software to meet daily and monthly goals Claims management and evaluation of payments, denials, and appeals Ensure all outstanding bills are collected Data entry of patient demographics and input charges accordingly Ability to appropriately assign modifiers Medical reimbursements Various billing and collections functions to ensure accurate and timely claim processing Coding hospital and advanced procedure charges Confirm patient benefits and insurance Follow-up on late or missed payment notices Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes Qualifications and Skills Previous Medical Billing experience, to exceed 3 years, required High School Diploma or GED Certified Coder with the AAPC a bonus but not required Medical Billing Certificate a bonus but not required Possess knowledge of billing software Ability to communicate and work effectively Previous GI billing experience will be considered a plus Job Type:
