General Requirements:
Must be able to demonstrate all the technical and programs skill required of a foster parent.
Advance technical writing skills required.
Advanced treatment planning and behavior analysis skills required.
Teaching TIPS - MAPP required throughout the year.
Ability to build relationships with other professionals and foster families.
Requires extensive day and night travel to provide supervision and technical support services to assigned foster parents.
Service
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision, technical consultation and related support services to assigned foster parents.
Supervise and assist foster parents with intake, treatment planning and all facets of program operations, including proper implementation of Modeling Approach to Partnership & Parenting (MAPP).
Serve as conduit between assigned foster parents and B&GH administration.
Fulfill a specified annual service delivery plan involving on-site, in-home observations, treatment planning sessions and telephone consultation for assigned foster parents.
Assist in intake and aftercare in assuring maximum census potential in assigned foster families.
May assist with some facets of foster parent recruitment and selection.
Assist with some facets of foster parent and adoptive parent training (pre-service, in-service, advanced training program, etc.
).
Assist with all facets of foster parent professional evaluations.
Serve as in-home evaluator; participate in data analyses, assists with writing and general report preparation.
Provide 24-hour emergency consultation and support to assigned foster parents and back-up emergency consultation to other foster parents.
Model appropriate moral, ethical, professional values for youths, colleagues and community-at-large.
Abide by the Standards of Ethical Conduct of NCARCCFS.
Support foster parents by attending court, meeting with other agencies & professionals, providing foster children with transportation to visits and appointments as needed.
Will assist with TIPS - MAPP training when in your area or assigned by supervisor.
Have professional relationships with the DSS agencies and GAL program.
Keep all foster children files updated to meet the state standards and COA standards.
Other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Family Foster Care, Vice President-Community Based Services and/or President/CEO.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in the field of human services from an accredited college or university required and one year of directly related experience.
Experience:
Must have at least three (3) years' experience working with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed youths and their families.
Experience in working with foster parents.
Must be 21 to apply.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
