9K a year Job Description We are searching for a reliable Front Desk Receptionist for a busy Pediatric Medical Practice to perform various office duties to keep our healthcare practice running efficiently while maintaining professionalism with patients and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and schedule appointments in appropriate timeslots.
Verify Insurance and patient demographics prior to each appointment Send and receive patient medical records.
Collect co-pays and prior balances when required.
Make reminder phone calls of the patient's next appointment.
Work Experience / Skills / Education:
Associate degree in a medical field (preferred but not required) 1
years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital Operate a multi-line phone High level of professionalism on the phone and in person.
Strong customer service and computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Dependable, a multitasking individual willing to be part of a team Bilingual encouraged to apply Job Type:
