The busiest Emergency Department in North Carolina is actively seeking residency-trained, Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians to join its team at a Level III trauma center. This practice operates within a 96-bed adult Emergency Department, catering to a high-acuity patient population with a 28% annual admission rate. Situated in a thriving and diverse community, the area boasts a population of over 319,000 residents.The Pediatric ED is separate and has 17 dedicated beds.
Hospital Employee, Inpatient only. The EMS system is hospital owned and managed with an award winning paramedic program. Opportunities exist for both clinical and academic emergency physicians. The facility is Chest Pain and Stroke accredited. A generous sign-on bonus plus moving allowance.
