We are seeking a Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our team.
As a Veterinary CSR, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced veterinary clinic environment.
Your primary responsibility will be to prepare patient files for our veterinarians and support staff, greet and assist clients, schedule appointments, and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Greet every client and visitor with an inviting, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Our customers are family.
Many have been with us multiple years, if not decades.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member - Schedule appointments using our electronic scheduling system - Check-in and check-out clients, collect payments, and provide accurate invoices - Maintain patient records and update client information in our database - Critical thinking skills--needed to assess proper health services needed by patients - Provide general administrative support to the veterinary team as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment - Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems - Knowledge of basic animal care and husbandry practices - Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness in the clinic - Comfortable handling dogs and cats and restraining animals when necessary - Bilingual (Spanish) is a bonus, but not required.
