Desktop Support Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Fayetteville, NC.

What You'll Be Doing:
- As the Help Desk Specialist (Desktop Support Technician I), you will have the opportunity to support a critical military mission by interacting daily with the customer to ensure continued productivity.
- You will be providing reliable and quick resolutions when issues arise by calling upon your experience supporting Network, Hardware, Software and various other needs as they arise.
- Provide limited troubleshooting support for standard applications and telecommunications systems.
- Receive calls from customers and log problems into ITSM related to Network Security/Connectivity, applications and the client's telecommunication systems.
- Create and track computer/network work orders using Remedy and escalate as necessary.
- Submit work orders/trouble tickets for new installs and existing telephone.
- Maintain user accounts and process password resets.
- Monitor security cameras and building access.
- Monitor network equipment and notify appropriate personnel of any network outages.
- Provide switch MAC resets and circuit resets.
- Monitor environmental alarms.
- Recommend methods to improve operations and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Process all applicable service requests IAW CIO/G6 C4IM services list and other applicable guidance.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Associates degree in an IT related field is preferred.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
- Current CompTIA A
certification (obtained within the last 3 years).
- Current MCSA Windows 7 or Windows 8 or must be able to obtain in 60 days.
- Minimum 2 years of Help Desk Support.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows 7 and Active Directory Structure.
- Working knowledge of SMS or other remote tools.
- Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret Security clearance.
- Experience with CAC readers.
- Experience with Remedy or ITSM.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts.
