Wave Planner

WAVE PLANNER:
Wave planner will assist in prioritizing work flow throughout Facility
Will perform wave planning, coordinating orders with operations and transportation
Tracking the progress of waves
Releasing work to the floor
Maintaining an open line of communication with the operations and management team
Aides in maintain balance across the fulfillment center
Practices safety awareness
Promotes an environment of respect and inclusion with work teams
Work in a team environment to create a positive work environment
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Processes shipping orders coming into facility to meet client's needs (waves system is utilizing the company's warehouse management system and other related software program)
Processes waves according to an established schedule and/or as requested by management
Manages and prints labels on assigned color coded labels for each wave generated. Assigns the proper label color code as determined by priority, department, and destination type.
Assigns active shipping lanes per destination using the company's related software program(s) as requested by management
Handles start/end of shift computer equipment exchange and follows established processes related to the distribution, tracking, and receiving of equipment
Inspects returned mobile equipment for damages. Follows the documentation process in order to report equipment damage to Information Technology (IT) and management
Provides first-level technical support for mobile computer equipment and printers. Support includes performing basic troubleshooting and testing for wave processing and label printing, straightforward hardware rests, replacing failing mobile equipment for associates, clearing paper/label jams, and supplying printer toner and ribbon replacements to users
Documents recurring hardware problems according to a defined process and communicates to IT as necessary for next-level support
Keeps supervisor informed of potential problems and important developments necessary for effective management
Performs other duties as apparent or assigned
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
