Senior Tooling Engineer
ResourceMFG Search Group is currently seeking candidates for Sr. Tooling Engineer in the Fayetteville NC Area, you would be responsible for:
Managing two designers for tooling procurement, equipment and system installation.
Streamling Design Service Request work flow and help reduce the number of working databases
Developing standard work processes reducing output/quality variation from employee to employee.
Developing QS9000 Policies and Procedures with Tool Engineering Department.
Facilitating Kaizen Blitz teams KanBan training and Arvin Total Quality Production System courses.
Leading multidisciplinary team in the redesign of Clients Request for Quote process and developed a database automating Bill of Material generation and Cost Summation (beta test) reducing quote turnaround.
Improving component quality and design-for-manufacture by advising product engineers on component design and assembly techniques.
Advising designers, machinists and toolmakers in tool, die and fixture design, die repair, die changes, trouble shooting techniques for progressive metal stamping dies.
