Heavy Equipment Mechanic - $32/hr + Housing & Per Diem + 50 hrs/wk
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanics with at least 5 years experience needed for work in the Southeastern states.
The Crane/Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be required to repair and maintain mobile mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment such as cranes, drill rigs, bulldozers, and graders that are used in construction. Most of the heavy equipment engines are CAT brand. Some of the other equipment models will be Liebherr and Soilmec.
Duties will include:
repair/replace damages or worn parts, adjust, maintain, and repair/replace engines and subassemblies, including transmissions using hand tools, jacks, and cranes; overhauls and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency; examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges; operates and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematic drawings.
$32/hr
