Electronic Technician Aerospace ESS
Multiple openings. Hourly position working on the shop floor for second shift for an aerospace company in the Wilson,NC area.
These positions are available due to production growth.
3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
This is also called a process technician.
This position is responsible for processing production units for the avionic and ground vehicle lines. We make and repair fire suppression devices for the aviation industry, commercial bus and military vehicles.
Duties for this position are:
-Tests products for load capabilities, mechanical characteristics, polarity, voltage, amperage, inductance, shorts, grounds, circuits continuity and physical properties -Troubleshoot analog and digital circuits. This position requires troubleshooting to the component level. -Perform routine repair activities on avionics equipment including surface mount solder repair. -Must comprehend blue prints and schematics -Knowledge of electronic theory including microprocessor based products -Experienced in dielectric and hypot testing and safety measures involved when performing test. -Must comprehend all ESS procedures and be proficient in performing the test. -Recommend efficiency enhancements for fast paced electronic trouble shooting environment
