Major duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for producing agendas and accurate minutes of meetings (e.g. Executive Leadership Board, Director's Staff meetings, Town Hall meetings, etc.), including action plan and responsibility for follow-up, within a timely fashion. Reviews and coordinates all e-mail for action items and/or responses due. Receives visitors and handles all phone contacts, using judgement for screening and referring as necessary. Coordinates the calendar for meetings and conference calls. Performs all aspects of administrative work in preparation of Director's travel arrangements and documents. Ensures availability of supplies and materials for office functions, including serving as ADPAC for Director, PIV Sponsor and trusted agent for inventory management. Responsible for coordinating the work of the office with the work of other offices, and for recognizing the need for such coordination in various circumstances. Responds to inquiries and administrative problems brought to the Director by members of the staff and officials of the agency's network office, state and local governments, other hospitals and organizations, and other federal agencies. Manages master files on Medical Center Memoranda (MCMs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all VA Directives and Manuals. Screens all correspondence prepared for the Director's signature for clarity, completeness of reply, and grammatical and procedural correctness. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-08. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-08 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
providing clerical and administrative assistance to the organization; maintaining supervisors calendar and scheduling meetings, briefs and appointments; makes arrangements for travel, meetings, and other activities; maintain timecards for staff; records, transcribes, and edit meeting minutes. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
